Melissa's story resonated so deeply with me due to my own allergic disease. I don't have the exact disease that she had but share very similar symptoms and an almost parallel experience. I came across Melissa's blog a little over a year ago. When I found out she was writing a book, I waited and waited and waited. I am so thankful that she was obedient to the call to write this book. I'm so thankful to God for her testimony as we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimonies. I went through so many emotions while reading this. It is indeed heavy. It felt as if a portion of my life was written on paper. This book was thorough and well written, so descriptive that I could clearly envision every sentence written on its pages. Outside of the Bible, this is the first book to ever make me cry. And by "cry," I mean boohoo, deep crying from the soul. Whether you feel lost, have lost faith and are doubting God, praying for a miracle, or simply need some encouragement in the Lord, this is the book for you. Even if you're not a Christian or follower of Christ, you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK! ( Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2021 )
