• 5.0 out of 5 stars from T. R. Smith -- Very easy to read 12 point typeface : Just what I wanted and expected. Very easy to read 12 point typeface, words of Christ in a deep, vibrant red that won't strain the eyes, Well-applied gilding on the page edges. A simplified concordance and a couple of nice maps plus all the normal cross-references complete the volume. Remember, this is a personal size reference Bible, not a full-blown study Bible. It's intention is to be light to hold and easy to read. This is the Bible your Grandmother carried to church. The one small problem in the description is that it said genuine leather. It is bonded leather. I don't take points off for that because I know you don't get full genuine leather bindings at this price point. But printers have started calling bonded leather genuine today, so shop carefully if you want that rich leather smell. But is it beautifully printed, fully smith sewn, and with a soft but solid binding that should last for years. Worth every cent. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2017 )
• 5.0 out of 5 stars from kc -- Very nice Bible : The KJV Bible I had used for church for over 20 years literally fell apart. It had my notes, etc., from 20 years of sound Bible teaching from my Pastors. I reluctantly decided to replace it when I learned that it would cost $125 to re-bind it. The print was small, making it difficult to read, but I wanted to keep using it. However, when I decided to replace it, I searched for a larger print KJV Bible. While this one is not as large as my giant print NIV that I use at home, it certainly has a more comfortable font than my former, beloved church Bible. This Bible is of good quality. The words do not bleed through. I do not use highlighters in my Bibles, so I don't know if that would bleed through. This Bible has some nice features, such as marking passages of fulfilled prophecies with a star next to the text, a Bible-reading plan, a ribbon marker, and it is a very good size for carrying to church. It will fit well in my glove compartment, and it is not heavy at all. Of course, it is not a study Bible, but that would make it much larger and heavier. I wish it was thumb indexed. However, I am delighted with this Bible, and will be using it for many years, God willing. ( Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2016 )

Just right for carrying to meetings. Each verse begins on a new line which I really like. There is not a column of cross references nor are the margins wide enough to pencil in notes. They have one of the best editions that has almost all of the references in the New Testament where the Old Testament is quoted. And this is in a version that is a "reader" version. It is not laden with references and other distractions throughout the text. If you are a traditionalist, this is the Bible for you. It has a genuine leather cover and stitched binding. This has the good old leafs it should have. Not so thin the letter bleed through but just right. Exactly what I was looking for. A plain black, regular old King James Version bible.
